Patient satisfaction is of THE utmost importance to us. This goal can only be achieved through continued education and in depth information of the health care professionals who use our products and as a result of a close interaction and cooperation between our sales staff, our Medical Advisor and our customers. To this end our Sales Representatives are trained by our suppliers and our Medical Advisor is continuously updated, enabling them to bring across the product specifics, innovation in surgical procedures and new scientific findings. Our team is available to the health care profession to assist and advise where necessary in order to assure that every patient who is exposed to a product supplied by PresbVision has the best possible outcome.

 
Our company adheres to the strictest of ethics codes and practices an utmost in compliance to open, honest and transparent business practices and we will only work with business partners who have the same high standards. Everything we do as a company must be of ultimate value to the patient.
 
Our Managing Director, Egmont Baumgartner, grew up and studied in Cape Town, South Africa. He started his career as a Medical Representative in 1978 in the Pharmaceutical Industry. In the following 29 years his progression through the ranks of business resulted in him living and working all over Europe and Asia. The last 5 years, before returning to South Africa in 2009, were spent in Switzerland as Vice President of Sales for Synthes AG. Egmont was co-founder of an ophthalmic manufacturer in Switzerland in 2002. He created PresbiVision in 2010 as the distribution channel for the recently CE approved lens originally developed by Biovision.
 
Our Administrative functions, which include the liaison between ourselves, our customers and suppliers, are taken care of by Kirsten Ruhoff. Of South African origin, Kirsten speaks fluent English, German and Afrikaans. After qualifying and working in the Travel Industry in Cape Town for 10 years, she spent twenty years in Europe and the Middle East, where she held a key customer service position in the Airline Industry. Also with a strong International Diplomatic background, Kirsten now brings a combined in depth understanding of putting the customer first, working with various languages and cultures whilst adhering to the tight time schedules, to Presbivision.
